General Manager Sales – UAE

About the role

As the General Manager for the UAE, you will act as the primary driver of Cisco's go‑to‑market strategy, orchestrating cross‑functional teams within a matrix environment to achieve business growth and operational excellence. You will lead a diverse, high‑performance team dedicated to enabling Cisco’s go‑to‑market strategy in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Country leadership team to define strategic objectives and budgets that address client demand.
• Drive the overall sales motion and forecast accuracy to ensure consistent, predictable bookings growth across Cisco’s portfolio.
• Implement end‑to‑end sales methodologies to improve funnel reliability and lead generation efficiency.
• Cultivate strategic government and executive relationships to create new revenue streams and increase market share.
• Champion employee engagement, community initiatives, and compliance through the UAE Country Leadership Board.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading large‑scale sales organizations in the technology industry.
• Executive‑level track record of managing substantial P&L and large sales quotas.
• Proven ability to sell B2B enterprise technology to public and private sector clients in the UAE.
• Experience building and managing software and services businesses with a lifecycle approach.
• Relevant qualification in IT or business management.
• Strong business acumen, ability to spot market opportunities early, and a challenger mindset.
• Established network of CXO‑level decision‑makers and key government influencers.
