Gold Purchase & Sales Manager

About the role

A growing international precious metals trading company based in Dubai is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Gold Purchase & Sales Manager to lead and expand its physical gold trading operations. The role covers sourcing, purchasing and selling physical gold across international markets, with a strong focus on Africa, the UAE and other global trading hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase physical gold from reliable, verified international suppliers.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with gold miners, suppliers, refineries, bullion dealers and institutional buyers.
• Negotiate and execute profitable gold purchase and sales agreements.
• Identify new sourcing opportunities and expand the international trading network.
• Manage end-to-end transactions, including logistics, documentation and payments.
• Analyse the market and monitor international gold prices and trends.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, AML requirements and responsible sourcing standards.
• Coordinate with logistics, finance and compliance teams and coordinate with them to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
• Build long-term commercial partnerships and achieve monthly and annual trading targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in physical gold trading, purchasing or sales.
• Demonstrated experience in gold doré, bullion and refined gold transactions.
• Active network of international gold suppliers, miners, refiners, bullion dealers and buyers.
• Solid understanding of international precious metals markets, pricing mechanisms and trading procedures.
• Experience with cross-border gold trading, especially involving Africa and the UAE.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Finance or a related field preferred.
