Graduate Engineer – Building Structures (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP’s Middle East office is looking for an Emirati graduate to join its Building Structures team in Sharjah. The Graduate Engineer will gain hands‑on experience in project management within the built environment, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of structural projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, timelines and related documentation.
• Support day‑to‑day coordination, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports and tracking deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, help identify risks, issues and dependencies.
• Conduct research, gather data and perform analysis to aid decision‑making.
• Prepare presentations and project updates for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
• Maintain organized and accurate project records and documentation.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives within the project management function.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a valid Family Book.
• Recent graduate in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a project‑driven environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
