About the role
The Group HR Director will shape the regional people strategy for a large healthcare group operating across multiple GCC markets, driving workforce growth and organisational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a group‑wide human capital strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead HR operations, governance, policies and workforce planning across multiple entities.
- Drive talent acquisition for clinical, corporate and executive positions.
- Establish succession planning, leadership development and organisational effectiveness programmes.
- Oversee learning and development initiatives, including a healthcare academy framework.
- Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, culture and retention initiatives.
- Manage compensation, benefits and reward strategies while ensuring compliance with UAE and KSA labour laws and localisation requirements.
- Support acquisitions, integrations, hospital openings and expansion projects.
- Monitor HR metrics, workforce analytics and organisational performance indicators.
- Build relationships with regulatory authorities, academic institutions and external partners.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 8‑10 years within healthcare organisations.
- Proven track record partnering with CEOs, Boards or executive leadership teams.
- Strong knowledge of UAE and KSA employment legislation and workforce localisation programmes.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
