Group Procurement Director

About the role

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Middle East & Africa is seeking a senior procurement leader to design and embed a group‑wide strategic procurement function across its hotel portfolio. The role will transform a fragmented purchasing environment into a coordinated, value‑generating organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a group‑wide procurement strategy, operating model and governance framework.
• Establish procurement policies, procedures, approval authorities and compliance standards across all properties.
• Identify and capture synergies, economies of scale and consolidation opportunities across multiple locations.
• Lead strategic supplier selection, negotiations, contracting and performance management.
• Introduce procurement performance indicators, spend analytics, reporting dashboards and drive digitalisation through e‑procurement platforms.

Required profile

• 15+ years of professional experience with significant leadership responsibility in strategic procurement, sourcing or supply chain management.
• Proven success in designing, establishing and scaling centralized procurement functions in large, decentralized, multi‑entity organisations.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, food & beverage, travel retail or other multi‑site service industries (hospitality advantageous).
• Strong commercial acumen, financial understanding, analytical capabilities and technology orientation.
