Group Senior Vice President Legal – Global Logistics

About the role

The Group Senior Vice President Legal for Global Logistics will lead the legal function across DP World’s logistics operations. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this senior leader will advise senior management on legal and regulatory matters, manage risk, and ensure compliance with global logistics agreements and corporate governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the Global Logistics senior management team on all logistics‑related contracts, corporate structure, and governance issues.
• Identify, manage, and control legal and operational risks across the Global Logistics business.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of logistics contracts, including framework agreements, terms and conditions, and agency agreements.
• Analyze legal issues arising from new business initiatives, partnerships, and collaborations, and deliver commercially focused recommendations.
• Lead regional legal heads in implementing the Global Logistics legal strategy and coordinate responses to global tenders.
• Oversee regional collaboration, resolve compliance problems, and ensure consistent policy implementation.
• Manage relationships with external counsel, select appropriate firms, and control external legal spend.
• Develop and maintain standard template documents and an effective document management system for executed agreements.
• Report to the Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel and promote DP World’s values and principles.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate and logistics law, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Proven track record of leading legal teams and managing complex, cross‑border contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide clear, business‑focused legal advice.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and risk‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior executives and external counsel.
