Guest Service Attendant - Country Club

About the role

Viya, part of wasl Hospitality & Leisure, is hiring a Guest Service Attendant for its Country Club in Dubai. The role provides on-ground support across the club's facilities, including the pool, gym, studios, tennis and padel courts, and changing rooms and locker rooms, keeping the environment clean, welcoming and service-oriented for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning and tidying of changing rooms, pool area and common spaces, and ensure equipment is clean, functional and properly stored
• Maintain locker room hygiene, refill amenities and towels, and take part in weekly or biweekly deep cleaning
• Help prepare store request lists, maintain inventory and report damaged or missing items to the Assistant Manager or HOD
• Sort, count and manage dirty linen and towels, and monitor daily and monthly stock of amenities, towels and pool furniture
• Use the WASL SAP portal to manage maintenance and housekeeping tickets
• Deliver prompt, courteous service, resolve complaints and act on feedback
• Follow task checklists, support club events and coordinate with Reception, Lifeguards and the Fitness Professional
• Take part in extra activities such as committees and projects, and be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in guest services, hospitality or a related customer-facing role
• Good physical fitness for outdoor work and equipment handling
• Punctual, respectful and team-oriented

Required skills

• Spoken and written English; other languages are an advantage
• Strong customer service orientation, organization and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the 4 Service Steps and compliance with information security policies
