Head of Financial Infrastructure Partnerships & Expansion

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Head of Financial Infrastructure Partnerships & Expansion to develop strategic solutions for banks, fintechs, payment companies, telcos, large enterprises, institutions and governments worldwide. The role bridges external partners with Tether’s product teams, leveraging stablecoins, wallets, tokenisation and payments to design tailored financial infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify strategic opportunities with banks, fintechs, payment companies, telcos, financial institutions, retailers and large enterprises globally.
• Design and structure multi‑product solutions combining stablecoins, wallets, tokenisation and payments.
• Originate, negotiate and close high‑value strategic partnerships and deployments.
• Act as the bridge between customers, external implementation partners and Tether’s internal teams, coordinating complex projects from inception to scale.
• Define priority markets, build a global pipeline, and lead the Financial Infrastructure Expansion team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in banking, payments, fintech, financial infrastructure or technology business development.
• Proven track record of originating, structuring and closing large strategic partnerships.
• Strong relationships with senior decision‑makers in banks, fintechs, telcos and large enterprises.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building and managing high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of payments, digital assets, wallets, tokenisation and settlement.
• Ability to translate complex customer needs into multi‑product solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Experience working across product, technical, commercial, legal and regulatory teams.
