Junior Project Coordinator

About the role

Dune Strategy is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to support research and preparation for commercial decisions affecting international investors and sovereign-linked entities. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Dubai with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Research counterparties before meetings, including ownership structures, track records and decision‑makers.
• Map market or sector dynamics, identify relevant regulators, approvals and typical timeline risks.
• Prepare concise briefing materials, notes and background packs for senior partners.
• Track open questions and follow‑ups across active engagements.
• Collect and organise market intelligence on regulatory changes and sovereign capital priorities.
• Attend internal discussions, take clear notes and produce written records with positions and reasoning.
• Maintain project files, source lists and reference material in an organised state.

Required profile

• Clear thinking – able to break messy questions into essential elements.
• Strong writing – short, plain‑language sentences without filler.
• Pragmatic mindset – focus on what works in practice.
• Curiosity – verify sources beyond summaries.
• Attention to detail – accurate names, dates, figures and spelling.
• Comfort interacting with senior colleagues and asking direct questions.
• Willingness to learn deal, joint‑venture and market‑entry processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
