Head of Operations

About the role

The Head of Operations will lead the Dubai branch of Doha Bank, ensuring efficient daily workflows, cash management, customer service, security, IT support, and immigration activities. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to internal and external customers while complying with bank and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational workflows, cash handling, and remittance processing.
• Manage customer service, security/safety procedures, and IT support service delivery.
• Supervise archiving activities and ensure timely reconciliation of daily and monthly reports.
• Monitor branch budget, variations, and compliance with internal guidelines.
• Represent the bank at external events and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse sales and operational performance of retail products, ensuring targets and quality standards are met.
• Review financial standing of client portfolios and recommend actions to improve profitability.
• Assess team structure and capabilities, recommending staffing changes as needed.
• Provide performance feedback and counseling to direct reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Banking & Finance or Sales & Marketing.
• Master’s degree in Management or a related discipline.
• 15‑20 years of experience in the financial services or banking sector, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Central Bank regulations and ability to implement necessary changes.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
