Head of Security for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individual

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced and discreet Head of Security to protect a Dubai‑based ultra‑high‑net‑worth individual and their family. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution across residential security, global travel protection, and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage security for the principal’s primary residence in Dubai and regional properties, including CCTV, perimeter, access and alarm systems.
• Provide executive protection and travel security worldwide, conducting advance assessments, route planning and close‑protection operations.
• Build and oversee a vetted global network of freelance security contractors, handling contracts, budgets and performance.
• Monitor physical, geopolitical and reputational threats, develop crisis response plans and deliver security briefings.
• Define a forward‑looking security strategy, mentor internal and external teams, and coordinate with the chief of staff and household staff.

Required profile

• 12‑15+ years of security experience, preferably with UHNWI or VIP protection.
• Prior experience working in Dubai or the Middle East.
• Background in military, law enforcement or intelligence.
• Demonstrated ability to operate discreetly across multiple jurisdictions.
