Security Coordinator – Investigation & Crime Prevention

About the role

The Security Coordinator supports the Investigation & Crime Prevention Unit in maintaining compliance with Emirates Group security policies, the Airline Security Program and the Security Management System. The role involves analysing irregularities, coordinating investigations and ensuring effective communication across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and audit security documents, manuals and records.
• Liaise with authorities (immigration, police, embassies) to prevent inadmissible passengers and support staff training.
• Investigate cargo discrepancies and conduct random audit checks on cargo handling processes.
• Coordinate surveillance activities, review incident reports and follow up with outsourced security personnel.
• Process approvals for VVIP, CIP, protected persons, deportees and firearms transport, ensuring proper monitoring.
• Record and manage fraud alerts on tickets and credit cards, maintain fraud databases and assist investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of security experience, preferably in aviation.
• Ability to produce comprehensive written reports.
• Computer literacy is essential.

Required skills

• Experience in investigation and fraud prevention.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and root‑cause analysis.
