Head of Supply Chain Management (MEP)

About the role

The organization is seeking a senior leader to head its supply chain function within the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) sector in Dubai. This role will drive procurement, warehouse, and inventory strategies to support large‑scale construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement management for high‑value construction materials.
• Oversee multi‑site warehouse operations, managing at least five warehouses simultaneously.
• Direct inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with project goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction material worth AED 200‑500 million.
• Experience overseeing the annual procurement of approximately AED 500 million.
• Minimum 20 years of overall experience, with the last 10 years in a Head, Director or Senior Manager role in procurement or supply chain.
• Background in construction or contracting, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification.
• Strong relationships with global manufacturers, local vendors and subcontractors.
• Exposure to automating supply chain functions for increased efficiency.
