Head - Priority Banking UAEN

About the role

The Head of Priority Banking leads and expands the Priority Banking segment, driving profitability, customer acquisition, portfolio growth and service excellence. The role manages and develops a team of Relationship Managers, works closely with Regional and Branch Managers on client engagement, oversees key Retail Banking strategic initiatives and projects, and supports the bank's growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive financial performance by achieving budget, revenue, customer acquisition (NTB), cross-selling and investment sales targets
• Develop and enhance propositions, products, campaigns and customer engagement strategies to grow the portfolio
• Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders on campaigns, brand positioning and market awareness
• Gather customer feedback and implement improvements to products, processes and service delivery
• Lead strategic initiatives, process enhancements and UAT activities to improve efficiency, compliance and turnaround times
• Act as liaison between frontline and support teams for service delivery and issue resolution
• Manage, coach and develop Relationship Managers, including supporting Emiratization by identifying roles in Cash Ops for UAE nationals and mentoring new joiners

Required profile

• Minimum master's degree in Business Management or Chartered Accountancy
• 15+ years of retail banking experience, with 5+ years in the Priority Banking segment
• Preference for employee banking or similar personal banking experience; UAE experience highly desirable
