Health & Safety Executive

About the role

Innovation Group is hiring a permanent Health & Safety Executive in Dubai. The role oversees health and safety across venue facilities and events, supports the formulation of safety procedures and reviews safety-related reports.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct health and safety inspections of venue facilities and events
• Support the formulation of health and safety procedures and guidelines
• Report on and review inspection, incident and accident reports
• Attend event planning meetings for all events held in the venues
• Attend authorities' inspections such as DCD and DM where required
• Assist in processing health and safety projects
• Handle confidential information and issues with discretion and judgment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent certification courses
• At least 5 years of experience in a health and safety capacity
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the health and safety field
• Good command of reporting and communication in English
• Ability to understand technical specifications and prepare accident reports
• Preferred: events and exhibition experience

Required skills

• Computer literacy
• Level 3 IOSH and NEBOSH certificates (mandatory)
• First Aider and Fire Warden certified
• Train the Trainer
• OSH Diploma (advantageous)
