Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic

About the role

A UAE‑based transport company is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic to maintain and service heavy‑duty trucks and diesel tankers, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and major repairs on heavy trucks and diesel tankers using OBD scanners, Jaltest and other truck diagnostic tools.
• Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, engine tune‑ups, oil changes and brake adjustments.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues such as engine overhauls, transmission problems and suspension system faults.
• Replace or repair faulty fuel, hydraulic and electrical system components.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and diagnostic results.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a mechanic for heavy‑duty trucks and diesel tankers.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and truck components.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
