About the role
International Community School – Al Manhal Branch is seeking a passionate History Teacher to deliver IGCSE history lessons to high/secondary students. The role involves creating engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons and contributing to a supportive learning community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver history lessons in line with the UK IGCSE syllabus.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Utilise educational technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in History or Education.
- Minimum 2 years of secondary‑school teaching experience within the British curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the UK history syllabus and assessment methods.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in lesson planning and student assessment.
- Ability to use educational technology tools effectively.
