Housekeeper

About the role

The Housekeeper will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors at GluCare Integrated Diabetes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient care areas, offices, waiting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dispose of medical and non‑medical waste following safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and equipment.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the Clinic Operations Manager.
• Follow infection control procedures and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Assist in setting up rooms for procedures or consultations when required.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Physical stamina for manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
