Housekeeping Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As a Housekeeping Attendant you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the luxury standards of the Waldorf Astoria. You will interact directly with guests, providing friendly service while maintaining the highest level of cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows or tracks.
• Report room status as clean and available, and log any maintenance deficiencies.
• Strip used linens and towels, remove used amenities, and replenish fresh supplies.
• Check and restock the maid cart with cleaning supplies and linens.
• Greet guests warmly, respond to special requests, and provide extra amenities as needed.
• Clean balconies and assigned public areas according to operational requirements.

Required profile

• Reliability in arriving to work on time and following the schedule.
• Physical ability to move large objects such as carts and linen bags, and to operate cleaning equipment like vacuums and brooms.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and team members.
• Capability to learn, follow, and enforce hotel cleanliness standards and safety procedures.
• Awareness of emergency situations and ability to act appropriately.
