HR Manager - Industrial & Manufacturing

About the role

A recruiter from Michael Page is seeking an HR Manager to lead the Human Resources department of a well-established medium-sized company in the industrial and manufacturing sector. The role is based in Dubai, reports to the CEO and covers HR operations, employee relations and organisational development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and employee retention processes.
• Support current and future business needs through the development and engagement of employees.
• Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and regulations.
• Oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Maintain the pay plan and benefits programme in line with market standards.
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar HR role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws and HR best practices.
• Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
