HR Officer (Maternity Cover) - December 2026

About the role

Liwa International School in Al Qattara, Al Ain is looking for an HR Officer to cover maternity leave in December 2026. The role supports daily HR operations and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening and interview coordination
• Prepare employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
• Assist with attendance, leave management and payroll-related activities
• Respond to employee inquiries about HR policies and procedures
• Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
• Keep employee information confidential and perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or administration
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally; current UAE residence visa preferred
• Immediate availability preferred; education sector experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Strong organisational and time management skills
