HSE Officer – UAE National (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an HSE Officer (UAE National) to join its Abu Dhabi site team. In this role you will provide health, safety and environment support and guidance to construction and project teams, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site activities to ensure they are carried out safely and in accordance with OSHAD regulations.
• Review contractors' HSE plans, procedures and related documents within agreed timeframes.
• Conduct daily safety walk‑downs, site inspections and hazard assessments.
• Lead accident, incident and near‑miss investigations and ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate HSE meetings, toolbox talks and safety awareness campaigns.
• Deliver health and safety induction training to all personnel and visitors.

Required profile

• Diploma, degree in any discipline or high‑school diploma; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Ability to attend physical interviews in Abu Dhabi.
• Preferably prior experience in an engineering consulting firm and a valid UAE driving licence.

• NEOBSH IGC Certification.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Accreditation.
• OSHAD – Qudorat/ADOSH SF certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Fire Safety certification.
