HSE Technical Risk & Emergency Management Manager

About the role

The Manager HSE Technical Risk, Emergency and Business Continuity Management (BCM) leads the development and execution of emergency response, crisis management and business continuity plans aligned with ADNOC Distribution’s strategic objectives. The role ensures technical risk oversight, HSE compliance for new projects, and operational resilience across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor crisis and emergency response plans in line with ADNOC standards and UAE regulations.
• Lead emergency communication improvements and coordinate training exercises for UAE and overseas teams.
• Provide guidance on Business Continuity Management, establish measurable BC policies, and allocate resources for BCM programmes.
• Participate in selection and validation of business continuity strategies and oversee testing of BC plans.
• Oversee technical risk management, including systematic review of fire and life‑safety systems throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure HSE compliance for new projects and expansion initiatives from design through operation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE, crisis management, emergency response and business continuity within a large industrial or energy environment.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, national and international regulations, and UAE safety legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex technical risk assessments.
