Indirect Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Tax professional to lead the development and execution of our Group’s indirect tax strategy in the UAE. The role ensures full compliance with VAT regulations, supports multiple entities, and contributes to M&A activities and e‑invoicing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of the indirect tax strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and file VAT returns, related transactions, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
• Provide indirect tax expertise for M&A transactions, including structuring and due diligence.
• Assist with tax audits, e‑invoicing implementation, ESR‑related matters, and stay updated on legislative changes.
• Identify opportunities to optimise VAT positions and mitigate tax risks.
• Deliver indirect tax reporting to authorities and offer internal guidance and training.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of experience in finance, management accounting, or related fields with strong indirect tax exposure.
• Prior in‑house or Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CTA qualification preferred.
