In‑House Legal Counsel – Industrial Platform

About the role

The Legal Counsel will act as the primary legal advisor for an innovative industrial platform operating in the metal sector. Reporting directly to the CEO and with indirect exposure to the Board, the role supports business decisions, manages contractual matters and ensures compliance with UAE laws.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to the CEO, senior management and relevant business functions.
• Monitor changes in UAE legislation, regulations and assess their impact on operations.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, MOUs, NDAs and service agreements.
• Lead contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, partners and investors, identifying risks and proposing commercially viable solutions.
• Maintain oversight of contractual obligations, renewals and key legal commitments.
• Support corporate structuring, governance, M&A, joint ventures and other strategic transactions.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes and liaise with external counsel when specialist advice is required.
• Ensure internal policies, procedures and business practices remain legally compliant.
