About the role
The In‑Room Dining Order Taker provides guests with a seamless dining experience directly in their rooms. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure each guest feels welcomed and satisfied throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in rooms.
- Take orders, record transactions in the MICROS system and process payments.
- Communicate menu questions, dietary requirements and special requests to the kitchen.
- Check guest satisfaction throughout the service and maintain clean work areas.
- Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights and presenting accurate checks.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
- Willingness to stand, walk and move for extended periods.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
