Instrument & Control Maintenance Engineer (Telemetry)

About the role

The Instrument & Control Maintenance Engineer will plan and supervise maintenance activities for a wide range of telemetry and control systems across Ruwais, MERAM and LN sites. The role ensures reliable operation by coordinating with operations, mechanical and electrical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance plans, including preventive, breakdown and shutdown activities.
• Provide field technical support for equipment testing, troubleshooting, start‑up and critical maintenance tasks.
• Allocate manpower, monitor workload and ensure resources, spares and tools are available.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Support major maintenance, upgrades and obsolescence planning aligned with a five‑year business plan.
• Participate in technical bid evaluation, material inspection and contractor performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in instrument and control engineering and maintenance within a large industrial, preferably oil & gas, environment.
