About the role
The Project Estimator will lead the preparation and coordination of large‑value tender estimations for NMDC Energy, ensuring accurate cost assessments across multiple disciplines.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review estimations for large tenders, coordinating discipline‑specific estimating activities with Proposal Managers.
- Supervise Estimators and Senior Estimators, finalizing fabrication, erection man‑hours, paint areas, and specialty items.
- Review tender documents for discrepancies and verify quotations meet required specifications.
- Compute unit rate costs based on man‑hours and material price lists, and prepare bid tabs for subcontract works.
Required profile
- Diploma in a related discipline; a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is an advantage.
- Minimum 9 years of multi‑discipline estimation coordination experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Required skills
- Cost estimation and tender preparation.
- Material list analysis and pricing of painting, fire‑proofing, and coating materials.
- Supervisory experience of estimation teams.
