Instrumentation & Control Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Technician, I-C is responsible for preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance of plant instrumentation, process monitoring, control and protective equipment. The role ensures equipment reliability through scheduled maintenance, shutdown participation and rapid response to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, repair and testing of instrumentation in line with SOPs.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities, support plant shutdowns and verify completion of work orders.
• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and test process control instruments and relay logic.
• Carry out field or system modifications of control loops and update related plant drawings.
• Assist in upgrading and retrofitting control instruments in panels and control rooms.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or secondary school certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in instrumentation and control maintenance.
• Ability to work in A/C environments and occasional exposure to heat, humidity and dust.

Required skills

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation.

• Relay logic and control loop modification.
• Interpretation of plant drawings and change management procedures.
