Interior Fit-Out Engineer – Dubai

About the role

The Interior Fit-Out Engineer will work on‑site in Dubai, overseeing the technical execution of interior fit‑out projects from concept through to handover. You will coordinate design drawings, manage on‑site installations, and ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical and architectural elements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret design and shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to align project schedules.
• Supervise installation activities, conduct quality inspections and resolve engineering issues on‑site.
• Monitor progress against timelines, manage resources and report status to project management.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, HSE standards and client specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and as‑built records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Interior Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in interior fit‑out or construction projects within the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, HSE standards and fit‑out best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and handle multiple fast‑paced site projects.

Required skills

• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) proficiency.
• AutoCAD and Revit (or similar BIM tools).
• Project Management capabilities – planning, scheduling and stakeholder communication.
• Research & Development (R&D) skills for evaluating new materials and technologies.
• Technical reporting and documentation.
