Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will support the maintenance of the internal audit charter and manual, ensuring compliance with IIA standards. The role leads risk‑based audit engagements, provides recommendations, and monitors corrective actions to strengthen internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the internal audit charter and manual in line with international best practices and IIA ethical standards.
• Plan, execute, and report on risk‑based internal audit assignments, including fieldwork, documentation, and follow‑up on action plans.
• Prepare and review audit reports for senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee, highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and coordinate with departments and external service providers during audit engagements.
• Participate in special audits, fraud investigations, and deliver training sessions to raise internal audit awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in internal audit or risk management.
• UAE national (Emirati) candidate.
