Internal Audit Manager – UAE Nationals

About the role

Emirates Islamic is seeking a qualified Internal Audit Manager to join its team and support the Head of Internal Audit. The role focuses on delivering audit services that strengthen the control environment across financial crime compliance, retail banking, and banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver audit services aimed at improving the control environment and protecting the group’s financial position.
• Ensure audit findings are addressed promptly and add measurable value to the business.
• Maintain contemporary, innovative audit practices to drive efficiency and quality.
• Document, report, and complete audit jobs in line with the Audit Manual and standards.
• Support observations with factual evidence and secure agreement from management.
• Foster professional relationships with business stakeholders.
• Participate in strategic initiatives, innovation programs, and staff engagement activities.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Graduate degree.
• Recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Banking/financial services audit experience (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of banking activities, IFRS and Basel regulations.
• Analytical thinking and a positive attitude to change.
