IT Executive

About the role

The IT Executive will ensure the stability and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure. This hands‑on position combines network engineering, server administration, and end‑user support to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and security issues across LAN, WAN and cloud networks.
• Manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing, VPNs and network access controls.
• Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning and optimise traffic.
• Configure, troubleshoot and manage database storage servers and cloud servers.
• Support firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPN configurations.
• Document network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide on‑site and remote assistance for end‑users on network‑related problems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network‑related systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with MacBook configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, IP routing, VPN and firewall concepts.
• Experience managing servers, database storage systems and cloud environments.
• Good documentation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
