IT Security & Information Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security & Information Security Officer to support the implementation, administration, validation, and monitoring of IT and information security controls. The role ensures regulatory compliance, secures IT operations, and drives timely remediation of cybersecurity risks for our UAE operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain endpoint, server, network, and database security controls.
• Deploy and validate security solutions such as FireEye, EDR, DLP, BitLocker, Umbrella, VPN, and Splunk.
• Execute security hardening activities based on CIS benchmarks and security baselines.
• Monitor and track remediation of vulnerabilities, audit findings, and security assessment observations.
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives, security audits, and data privacy requirements.
• Coordinate third‑party security assessments and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage security‑related change requests and ensure governance compliance.
• Maintain security documentation, reports, evidence, and management dashboards.
• Liaise with Head Office IT, information security teams, vendors, and business units.
• Escalate security risks, delays, and critical issues to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, information security or cybersecurity.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Endpoint security solutions (FireEye, EDR, DLP, BitLocker, Umbrella).
• VPN and network security.
• Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Server and network hardening using CIS benchmarks.
• Vulnerability management and security assessments.
• Regulatory compliance and audit coordination.
• Splunk for security monitoring.
