IT Support Engineer

About the role

The company is growing and wants an IT Support Engineer who owns day-to-day IT support end to end, so the rest of the team can focus on building. It is not a stepping-stone role: the needs are known and the person should be ready to take ownership from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for broken laptops, Wi-Fi problems, account access and other daily issues affecting 77 people.
• Manage Microsoft 365 day to day, including Outlook and Teams.
• Manage devices through MDM, keeping them provisioned, secure and up to date.
• Run support through an ITSM tool so nothing falls through the cracks.

Required profile

• Solid experience with day-to-day desktop support.
• Clear, confident English, as communication happens all day.
• Based in or able to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
• Someone experienced enough to take ownership without a lot of hand-holding.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge.
• Experience managing devices through an MDM.
• Experience working within an ITSM tool or process.
• Nice to have: on-premises data centre management, networking fundamentals and basic Azure cloud knowledge.
