Junior Accountant & Administrative Officer

About the role

Jumeriah International Nurseries (JINS) is seeking a Junior Accountant & Administrative Officer to support the financial and administrative functions of its five Dubai nurseries. The role combines core accounting duties with day‑to‑day administrative support, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general bookkeeping.
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Administer bank accounts, petty cash and weekly cash‑flow monitoring, including cash‑flow projections.
• Monitor outstanding fees, ensure timely collection and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Head Office accounting policies, VAT regulations and other financial requirements.
• Provide financial advice to the nursery and act as the primary contact for parents on financial matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
