Junior Financial Controller – Dubai (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a dynamic mid‑sized trading firm to hire a Junior Financial Controller for its Dubai and Singapore operations. You will join a collaborative finance team, taking ownership of core accounting processes while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
• Assist with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• In‑depth experience with SFRS (Singapore GAAP) and IFRS.
• Proven experience in a corporate/financial accounting role.
• Experience in asset management, financial services or SaaS is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
