About the role
JA Hatta Fort Hotel is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to support its kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. The role is full-time and based in Dubai, within the food and beverage services function of the hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Executive Sous Chef and Senior Sous Chef in leading daily kitchen operations
- Deliver high-quality food with outstanding presentation and attention to detail
- Ensure menu consistency, food safety and operational excellence
- Inspire and guide the culinary team while maintaining high standards
- Help create memorable dining experiences for every guest
Required profile
- Culinary degree or culinary diploma
- Intermediate food hygiene certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment
- Passion for quality, teamwork and hospitality
Required skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Good computer skills
- Fluency in English
