Key Account Manager - Unitary HVAC Sales

About the role

S.K.M Air Conditioning, an HVAC manufacturer active since 1974 across the Middle East and beyond, is looking for a Key Account Manager for unitary sales. The role drives sales growth, market penetration and profitability in the Middle East by selling the company's unitary HVAC portfolio (VRF systems, ducted units, wall-mounted splits, cassette units, AHUs and rooftop package units). It builds strategic relationships with distributors, key accounts, consultants, contractors and developers, manages the full sales cycle from specification to award, and monitors distributor performance, forecasting and collections.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve targets across the Middle East
• Manage and develop distributors, including performance and market expansion
• Promote and sell unitary products: VRF, ducted, wall-mounted, split cassette, AHU and rooftop package units
• Develop new business opportunities and expand market share
• Manage key accounts and build strong customer relationships
• Drive project sales by engaging consultants, contractors and developers
• Build and manage a project pipeline from specification to award
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities
• Prepare sales forecasts and support timely collections

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 7 to 10 years' experience in HVAC sales
• Strong experience in distributor management and project sales of DX units (VRF, AHU, RTP, RAC, CAC)
• Good knowledge of West African HVAC market dynamics
• Strong network with consultants and contractors
• Willingness to travel regionally
