Legal Coordinator – Corporate & Trademark

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Common Law Legal Coordinator to support our corporate business operations in the UAE. The role combines corporate legal work with trademark and commercial contract responsibilities, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage corporate legal documents such as shareholders agreements, joint‑venture agreements, intercompany agreements, articles of association, powers of attorney and board minutes.
• Maintain legal document management on the corporate server, including corporate registers and legal entity structures.
• Coordinate with external law firms to resolve disputes and provide legal advice.
• Review, qualify and negotiate tenders, contracts and other corporate documents.
• Draft contract templates (SLA, agency, distribution, IP, MSA, NDA, etc.) to meet business needs.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support, monitor UAE and free‑zone law updates, and manage document renewals.
• Set up entities in Dubai Mainland, DIFC, DMCC, JAFZA and other UAE free zones.
• Conduct legal research, draft internal policies and advise internal teams on operational matters.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• LLB from a Common Law jurisdiction.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, real‑estate or general trading sectors.
• Knowledge of UAE laws, free‑zone regulations, sanctions lists, anti‑competition and anti‑bribery legislation.
• Excellent legal drafting skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, mature attitude and ability to manage large workloads and prioritize tasks.
