Legal Executive

About the role

Gulf Orchid Perfumes Manufacturing is looking for a proactive Legal Executive to manage the company’s legal affairs and ensure compliance with UAE laws. The role involves supporting all business functions through contract management, corporate documentation, and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as distribution, supply, sales agreements and NDAs.
• Manage lease agreements, renewals, amendments and related compliance requirements.
• Handle legal correspondence, notices, claims and dispute matters, providing regular updates to management.
• Monitor ongoing legal cases and coordinate with external counsel, law firms and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Commercial Companies Law, Civil Transactions Law, Labour Law and other regulations.
• Maintain and secure legal records, contracts, licences and statutory documents.
• Support litigation, arbitration, mediation and settlement processes as needed.
• Protect and manage intellectual property, including trademarks and brand assets.
• Provide legal advice to HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales and Operations departments.
• Assist with debt recovery through legal notices and collection coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and corporate documentation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Commercial Companies Law, Civil Transactions Law and related regulations.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
