Leisure Sales Executive

About the role

The Leisure Sales Executive will drive revenue for Sofitel Dubai The Palm by managing key accounts, developing new prospects, and promoting the resort’s leisure offerings to travel agencies, tour operators and DMCs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts and prospects, focusing on local DMCs and selected UK accounts.
• Conduct 2‑3 sales calls weekly and maintain at least two conference calls per week with overseas partners.
• Attend trade shows and sales trips, providing accurate follow‑up reports.
• Oversee VIP villa inventory, prepare special FIT offers and ensure timely communication with clients.
• Enter all activities, rates and bookings into Opera and ASA according to Sofitel standards.
• Handle group and event enquiries, coordinate with the Inspired Meeting team, and ensure proper hand‑over.
• Maintain sales kits, respond to enquiries within 24 hours, and arrange familiarisation trips as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee superior guest service and accurate invoicing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel sales, preferably within the leisure segment.
• Strong knowledge of leisure markets, travel agencies, tour operators and DMCs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
