Lifeguard – Al Wadi, Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton Al Wadi pool area is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests. This full‑time position involves active monitoring of swimmers, rapid response to emergencies, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Observe swimmers, identify distress, and apply appropriate rescue techniques.
• Enforce pool rules and promote a safe, fun atmosphere.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and support until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain pool deck cleanliness, including towel handling, washing, and mopping.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Welcome guests, uphold uniform standards, and assist guests with disabilities.
• Perform routine physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and climbing ladders.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Valid CPR certification.
• No prior lifeguard experience required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and stand for extended periods.

Required skills

• CPR certification.
• Proficiency in lifeguard rescue techniques.
