Lifeguard – Luxury Resort (Dubai)

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a Lifeguard to join the Sports & Leisure team at One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai. The role is responsible for the overall water safety of guests in pool and beach areas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to the needs of resort guests.
• Assigned to a zone of protection, ensure guest safety and enforce safety rules.
• Provide instructions to swimmers.
• Hose down the area after the operating day.
• Contribute to resort clean‑up, including trash pickup and pressure washing.
• Stand for long periods and perform activities that require flexibility.
• Tolerate cold and hot weather, plus cold water.
• Lift heavy people on a backboard and perform rescues.
• Carry heavy objects such as hoses, tables, and signs.
• Perform any tasks assigned by supervisors and other duties as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years’ experience in an upscale luxury hospitality or five‑star hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail, flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
• Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
