Light Vehicle Driver – Bridge Maintenance Support

About the role

Egis Group is hiring a full-time light vehicle driver in Abu Dhabi to support bridge and road maintenance activities. The driver operates a 3-ton pickup and a truck-mounted attenuator (TMA) vehicle, transports tools and materials to project sites, and helps traffic management operations.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3-ton pickup and a TMA vehicle as required for bridge and road maintenance.
• Transport manpower, tools, equipment and materials to and from project sites.
• Support traffic management and ensure the TMA vehicle is correctly positioned during maintenance works.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Comply with UAE traffic regulations, company HSE policies and project safety requirements.
• Keep the vehicle clean and maintain accurate logbooks and fuel records.
• Assist site teams with basic loading and unloading, and follow instructions from Site Supervisors and Project Engineers.

Required profile

• Valid UAE manual light vehicle driving licence.
• At least 5 years of driving experience in the UAE.
• Experience driving 3-ton pickup vehicles.
• Preferred: experience on construction, road, infrastructure or bridge maintenance projects.
• Preferred: familiarity with TMA vehicles and traffic management, good knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE roads, basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, and ability to work outdoors.
• Basic English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
