About the role
The company is seeking an experienced Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines and lathes, including Fanuc Milturn centers up to 7‑axis. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring high‑quality production.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines and lathes according to work orders, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Identify and report discrepancies, troubleshoot malfunctions, and adjust/re‑program CNC controls as needed.
- Execute machining plans, adhere to manufacturing processes, and follow quality assurance procedures.
- Program Mastercam CAD/CAM software when required.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 + years hands‑on experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, orthographic drawings, and GD&T.
Required skills
- Operation of Fanuc Milturn CNC controls (up to 7‑axis).
- Mastercam CAD/CAM programming.
- Knowledge of GD&T and machining parameters.
- Troubleshooting and re‑programming CNC machines.
