Maintenance Assistant – Abu Dhabi Capital Center

About the role

Premier Inn is looking for a motivated Maintenance Assistant to join its Abu Dhabi Capital Center hotel. You will play a key part in keeping the property safe, functional and welcoming for guests, handling routine and urgent repairs while supporting the overall facilities team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspections of building, plant and equipment using the provided checklist.
• Perform general, preventive and emergency repairs across electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry areas.
• Support fire protection system maintenance, ensuring inspections and functionality meet scheduled requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
• Document completed work and report any recurring issues to senior maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in a hotel maintenance or engineering department.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus.
• Good command of English.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
