About the role
The Barista will be responsible for opening and closing duties, preparing coffee beverages, and delivering excellent guest service in a luxury hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Complete opening and closing tasks, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Take orders, input them into the MICROS system, prepare food and coffee drinks, and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain work areas, stock supplies, and ensure coffee equipment is operated correctly.
- Clean dishes, utensils, tables, and equipment throughout the shift.
- Count cash at shift end, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Capability to lift objects up to 25 lb and maneuver in confined spaces.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
- Basic cash handling and payment processing.
- Ability to operate coffee makers and related equipment.
