Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to develop and implement maintenance strategies for mechanical systems in its Dubai operations, ensuring equipment reliability and production continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plans for cam‑controlled machines, injection molding equipment and automated production lines.
• Analyze downtime, MTBF and MTTR, conduct root‑cause analyses and implement actions to improve machine availability.
• Define inspection routines, lubrication strategies, wear‑part replacement and overhaul intervals.
• Collaborate with production, toolmaking and engineering teams to improve machine stability and cycle‑time consistency.
• Support equipment commissioning, industrialisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, metal stamping, bending or welding industries.
• Knowledge of cam‑controlled machines such as Bihler (preferred).
