Maintenance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Specialist to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across all company locations in Dubai. The role ensures facilities operate smoothly, vendors deliver quality service, and compliance with safety standards is maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all sites.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify risks and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate repairs to minimize operational disruption.
• Manage external vendors, AMCs, and service contracts, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with standards.
• Obtain quotations, compare proposals, and support vendor selection.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date asset register and support new store openings, relocations, and refurbishments.
• Track equipment lifecycle and recommend replacements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain records of inspections, certifications, and permits.
• Monitor maintenance expenses, support budget planning, and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Prepare periodic maintenance reports and track KPIs and service levels.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance or technical services, preferably across multiple sites.
• Experience managing AMCs, contractors, and maintenance budgets.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, food & beverage, cafés or commercial facilities.
• UAE experience is an advantage.
